Personally I'd prefer lighter over thinner. It's a silly thing when you play the numbers game for numbers sake. "Biggest" or "smallest". Where as at least "faster" has some productivity returns. :)
It is lighter lets hope it doesn't bend >:D I await with interest I'm not a fan of iOS 8 on my current iPad with retina display so I will need to be convinced.
I'm more interested in the iMac with the 5210 x 2880 display. That's something I'd really like to see.

Considering the iPad is almost all battery I would imagine its harder to bend than a rectangle with a battery on one side. I'm going to order one when ever they go on sale and see what they are like.
