Will keep an eye on the Nexus 9 although I expect no SD card slot? Total memory would be a potential issue although I am wondering whether the money saved against a comparable iPad may make an Android tablet with say a reasonable sized Dropbox an alternative.

6 inches is a huge display for a phone.  I can't see it being particularly easy to handle.

My screen size is 5.2 I don't think I cope with anything much bigger.

My OnePlus One is 5.5", but I can't get to see just yet, it's sat in the RM sorting office awaiting collection, roll on Saturday.

My M8 is five inches, and although I could handle a little more width in portrait mode, it's not all that easy to type on in landscape mode, so anything taller would be more cumbersome, in my opinion.

Mmmm. Just ordered a Nexus 5 from PC World who are selling them £30 cheaper than google play store.

I did think of waiting to see if it would be discounted even more with this announcement, but chances are supply will run out if people don't want a 6 inch phone. It's more of a phablet really. I've been chewing over getting a 5 inch screen, certainly wouldn't want a phone that big.

Also not sure about Motorola being the manufacturer, seems some of their devices, while getting rave reviews initially, have been causing a few problems. Google will need to keep a tight control on build quality.
