Actually it gave me some back!  I now have a grand total of 325Mb free!  :woot: ::)

Interestingly, some people are reporting significantly improved battery life.

I've noticed the opposite since 7.1, and possibly before.  It's not that the battery runs out quicker, as such, but when I get down to 10% or thereabouts, the battery seems to quicken it's depletion, and the phone will shut down within a few minutes, even if not in use.  I think perhaps my 4S has had it's day, so I will certainly be looking to upgrade this year.
