Both Home and business users can check on this page. I checked a bunch of more recent ones and they are all safe. Netgear looks like they even on the most recent R7000 unit is only using version 0.9.8e. Hope that helps someone.

If you look though the source code it shows the version of OpenSSL used. To extract the source code from .tar you need something like WinRAR
