Saw this. Amazingly, what is it they have on that start menu? A little Metro like GUI in a functional mode. If they had this from the get go, the useablity would be great. Charms will never replace a windows/button based GUI IMO. Touch controls are abysmal, even when optimal. There are some interesting research results coming from those involved in VR systems, they basically admit, some control systems are impossible to implement. Some work well, others should be avoided with a barge poll.
