Couldn't see any at the Carphone Warehouse or the Sony site, Sam. They were quite popular a couple of years back - perhaps, with modern batteries, they've become redundant? Will you have access to a vehicle at all? If so, the easiest thing would be a car charger lead. (or a USB one?)
Another idea:
QuoteId pick up a 12v power pack (one with a car cig lighter plug in it) and use a car charger.
ive got 2 powerpacks, theyre rather useful.
Anyone find a good cheap place to find one of these? I need to get a car charger too!
Argos do them, Aldi do from time to time (ditto Lidl & Netto).
Cant find on argos???
Well I need it really off a site where I can get the car charger in the same order
Anyone wanna point me to a cheap capable product? Remember I'll prolly only use it for charging products (phone, psp, laptop kinda thing) so i dont wanna spend anything unneccessary. Cheers
These things are usually £30-40 and include a charger, Sam, assuming we are talking about the same thing that is!
This?
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=10651&langId=-1&searchTerms=7505979&go.x=0&go.y=0
However, if you have access to the mains to charge it, couldn't you just charge the phone normally?
Well what i was thinking of doing...excuse me for not noting this first off
Charge it up before going camping
Go camping with full battery of phone
Once battery on phone goes down, plug into power pack and charge (was going to be a disposable battery charger)
Could you not buy a spare battery and charge that before you go - and then swap over when battery 1 runs out?
I may have found a solution
I have a portable psp charger (external battery) and some extra plugins and cr*p ive found around - hopefully it will have enough charge to charge my phone and mp3 player - im gonna test it out :P
