Title: Flash security update (important)
Post by: Gary on Feb 05, 2014, 09:03:07
If your system has not updated automatically its worth checking for this update:

Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Flash Player 12.0.0.43 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh and Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.335 and earlier versions for Linux. These updates address a critical vulnerability that could potentially allow an attacker to remotely take control of the affected system.

Second update in as many weeks almost <sigh>

Mine is failing to update, claiming something is running using Flash, but it isn't.  ::)

For Debian-derived systems, it might be advantageous to run (as root or using sudo) "update-flashplugin-nonfree --install".

Flash Player version installed on this system  : 11.2.202.332
Flash Player version available on upstream site: 11.2.202.336
