Trouble is, his defence was probably that he wasn't involved with terrorist acts and he probably doesn't care about going to prison provided they eventually win whatever war they have been indoctrinated into believing they are fighting for religious purposes.
I'm no fan of government snooping but equally I'm no fan of those who seek to murder innocent people for the sake of some 'cause'
I also don't see many false positive happening. Just remember to erase your disk though if you do forget your password!

I firmly believe as I've said before that military power should be used to protect the innocent from despots as opposed to 'defending interests'
It was right that we acted to get rid of Saddam but equally we should not have supported him in the first place.
We should have acted against Mugabe in Zimbabwe and of course a lot of other places we've turned a blind eye because there's nothing in it for us.

Ok so its glib but "one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter " or when does an army of liberation become an army of occupation" I believe all wars are subject to points of view. Sadam was at one time hailed by the world as a great leader as was Hitler and Mussolini, but we know better now or do we?

I think we can leave it to them to take the greatest title. I don't know of many politicians who died fighting a war, but I can think of a few that started one.
I cant help feeling history is doomed to repeat itself as the oppositions we back turn on us or others when the war is over.
Interestingly, it appears history would. As the saying goes, those who do not learn from it, are bound/destined to repeat it.
I use to think the same every time I saw the crowds leave the pubs on a Friday night... back next week eh? :eyebrow:
