Title: IDNet web site off line
Post by: Najarak on Jul 18, 2006, 21:19:59
Just tried to get to the web site, got this :-

Quote"HTTP Status 503 - This application is not currently available

type Status report

message This application is not currently available

description The requested service (This application is not currently available) is not currently available.

Apache Tomcat/5.5.4"
Same message when trying to log in to my account. Very strange.

Just happened to me about 10 mins ago... nice to see that IDNet are using Apache rather than MicroSoft servers  ;D

When it came back I noticed that the Broadband page (http://www.idnet.net/broadband/default.jsp) was showing:

Page last modified: 18 July 2006

and

Prices correct as of 18 July 2006

Looks the same to me, anyone spot any changes?

Yes, table spacing is different ;)

See (http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:XFRa5ae20AEJ:www.idnet.net/broadband/default.jsp+&hl=en&gl=uk&ct=clnk&cd=1) for yourself :)

Problem solved, thanks for that.

Have you given up on AG?

Bill, I`m sometimes struggling to get here! For intents and purposes, yes I have. No particular reason other than a time issue and well, posts are few and far between on AG ... nobody has any problems! :)

Don`t share your views on AG mate, 99% of all members here came from AG and I do not think IDNet would have the custom base it has today, at least on the home front, without it ;)

Can't/won't speak for you Jeff but I think Max beats me hands down on activity/experience in AG....my view on it is much like the rest of the web...it's a very verrrrry mixed-up crazy world out there and while you see enough of it on the street...there's something about the anonymity of the web that brings the freaks out !

I agree with that ... I have a good habit of steering clear of net looneys tho m8 ... I think! :D

Hey, didn`t mean to contradict or have a go at max for his views. We say what we feel on this board, that`s what sets us apart man ;)

I`ve known max for a while now, he`s a tos gr8 bloke.  ;D

j/k man

Don`t you mean the FHM centre spread? So full of falsies ;)

Folk that wouldn`t give me the lickins of a dog in FC nowadays can`t get to me quick enough with a PM announcing they have just built their own BB ... jeezuz :D

I much preferred FC back in the old days where I made about 5500 posts with a username that was not AuraIndigo ;)

There`s 4 peeps (to my knowledge) on AG who know me by my old handle ;)
