Title: email - slow to send?

For some time now I'm finding that sending an email takes a long time. I use Thunderbird and it hangs on smtp.idnet.com for 30 secs or so before finally going. Thunderbird or idNet problem?

I'm finding the same on OE for the last month. Up to 2 minutes sometimes even on the shortest messages.

Just tried a test email- no problems here on MacMail. Couple of seconds, no more than that :dunno:

No problem here using Outlook, sends within 2 -3 secs.

+1 slow emailing with Thunderbird. I haven't changed anything except to keep up with the updates. Wonder if that's the cause of the problem?  ???
