Don't seem to be able to create additional address. Is it me or the site?
Is it that when you click the Create Email Address tab, nothing happens, Rick? If so, it's the same for me.
Works OK for me ??
Added one in the week, just checked again now, all OK.
(Logged in, under Email, Create New Address etc)
I'm with Simon on this one!
What the devil is going on?

I just created two without issue :dunno:
Have you used up your quota perhaps?
There isn't one, Mitch.
Ok, broken by a browser update perhaps?
Ah, I've just realised where I was going wrong. I was looking at it on my iPhone, and thinking that the Create Email Address tab should highlight when clicked, which it didn't. In fact, the 'highlight' is that it isn't blue. ::) I've just gone to it by clicking Create Email Address from the menu on the left have side, and can confirm that it does work for me. The attached it what you should see, Rick.
Yes Simon. I get that far then enter new name and password then enter then ... nothing happens!!
I just made up an @idnet.com address typed password, the coloured bar indicates password strength, if you use anything but Letters and numbers though it asks for you to change them, once its done thats it. What browser are you using?
IE8 Gary. Errr, what coloured bar??
There's a coloured bar that shows password strength. It goes green when it's OK, but you have to enter at least 8 characters, then you should see an 'OK' button, or similar. Have you tried another browser, Rick?
'puter showing signs of probs. Will do a sys restore in the morning but off to bed now. Thanks to everyone.
Tried to d/l Google Chrome, no way ..... would not d/l. So, hint taken and off to the eset firewall I find that Google installer has blocked eg: Deny communication for Googleupdate.com.
So, enabled same and I can now add email accts to IDNet. A little baffled but all's well that ends well! Thanks again for help/comments.
It appears that filtering is becoming more and more precise with each release and even update to a security product which is a double-edged sword as it makes things more secure but can also cause programs or code which was previously fine to malfunction and pinning it down can be like finding a needle in a field with several large haystacks.
Weird!
The Eset firewall used to be one that you had to teach, so out going connections would ask permission, it didnt have preset rules from the start, well that was ears ago not sure if they changed that. Also there was different modes from what I remember. If you have a hardware router and no one else has access to your internal network something like the windows firewall should be fine, since most routers have hardware and firewalls some would say software ones are not needed. I always liked one for extra safety though, but something simple.
I should have just gone back to bed instead of posting, looking at my typos in the above post. :red:
We're all ears you know! ;)
