Title: Any network problems this morning?
Post by: Wooloff on Jul 25, 2013, 07:31:39
I have no internet connection again this morning :(

Same thing as a couple of week back, all the lights are on, on the router but no connection. I've tried rebooting the router.

Anyone know of any issues or are having the same problems at the moment?

Thanks.

There was Maintenance work.

Cleared:    25/07/2013 06:00
Duration:    5 Hours 59 Minutes
Message:    Customers will lose Broadband service during the disconnection/reconnection.This will be for 10 mins up to 120 minutes
Area Codes:    01235 01243 01524 01730 01777

Apart from a fault in Wolverhampton that's all I can see on any status page of AAISP or Zen. All fine here in West Sussex at the mo.

It could be a stale session. Turn your router off for 30 mins or more then back on again.

Router off for 40 mins. Still no connection. And I'm in West Sussex too. Guess I'll have to give IDNet a call.

Sounds like a authentication issue, either that or  or a hardware issue maybe. Have you plugged into the test socket behind the faceplate? Or tried another router? Hope you get it sorted.  :thumb:

That's my problem there then, I'm in 01235 code.

It's been up and down all morning.

There appears to have been another blip this morning at 4am showing on all the IDNet graphs I can see:

Ignore the palaver yesterday afternoon - that's some kind of freakiness resulting from me using a VPN to work from home. It often kills my router (requiring a power cycle). I don't use the VPN much at the moment but I might be in the market for yet another router at some point  :shake:

The ironic thing is that my router is a DLink and the VPN is a Cisco VPN  :eyebrow:

Maybe a coincidence but my graph also shows an issue at around 4.30pm.
