Title: Java & Chrome
Post by: Broadback on May 31, 2013, 18:05:01
I am trying (unsuccessfully) to run a program. It says that Java must be enabled. How do I determine if it is or not enabled please?

http://java.com/en/download/help/enable_browser.xml

Chrome
Enter about:plugins in the search field.
Scan for Java and check whether Java is enabled (if the Disable link appears, Java is already enabled)
Click on the Enable link (if available)
(Optional) Check the Always allowed box to stop additional Chrome warnings when running Java content

Considering all the Java security issues is always allowed a good setting?

Thanks for the replies, but what search field do I enter "about:plugins" in? If I enter it in the usual search filed I smply get a list of sites displayed.
