It's useful to have web based e-mail such as Yahoo and GMail as a back up or simply use them all the time.

It is useful to have a backup, but I've found IDNet's email to be pretty reliable on the whole.

I have two ISP's so web based mail means I can access my mail using either ISP. ;)

Hi,

There was a reported issue with the SMTP server last night. I my self was notified around 8pm after some calls were raised by our out of hours team. This was resolved shortly after when one of our server team managed to find the issue and fix it.

Hopefully this did not cause you guys too much disruption and apologies for any caused.
