Title: Thanks IDnet
Post by: jakarra on Jul 08, 2007, 23:08:38
iv just moved house and I stopped my old service and started a new one. I purchased a new router and was told my connection would be Tuesday, so imagine my delight when I connected my router and found I had an internet connection :) Also my router was preconfiged so all I had to do was plug and play, great service guys  ;D

I would say thrice welcome, Jakarra, but I lost count. :) Enjoy the service, we know you will!

cheers guys its not often that you can phone an ISP and have the call answered stright away :) I also have a question after doing a couple of speed tests the results say 2.5 - 2.8 MB sec but my router says I have a steady 8mb connection. is there any way to increase my speed?

Sadly, the only way is patience, unless you're sure you've had a steady connection for three days already. The profile should lift automatically after three days, if not, give support a ring and they can arrange to kick the tyres for you. :) It would help, if you have to call them, if you could do a BT speed test first, as that will give you your profile.
