Title: IDNet Usage
Post by: Adrian on Feb 05, 2013, 13:24:40
According to my usage stats on IDNet I didn't have any downstream traffic during peak hours yesterday or Sunday. There is a little off-peak hours traffic but it is the usual small amount due to my server.

Is something broken and if it is, please don't fix it :)

I had a gut feeling my stats were not representative of my recent usage. I've just checked and you are right, nothing has been recorded for that period.

Mine seemed okay recently as I was streaming loads of stuff to make the most out of my new FTTC.

My usage stats appear to be lagging. The weekend stats have (unfortunately) caught up but nothing was recorded for last couple of days.

Lucky you.  I had to pay an extra £5 this month for going over my limit for January.

Mine are blank too but the current usage stats show as usual its just the daily usage reports.

Have you upgraded to the new packages, Lona?

I looked at the new packages Simon but couldn't find anything better. I don't usually go over and this is the first time it's happened. I was watching quite a few tv shows I had missed over the festive season.

The difference with the new packages is that there's no peak / off peak, so you can use your whole allowance at any time.

That stopped me pretty much going over, having 100Gb to use at any time is a god send.

I nearly went over my 200gb this month due to flippantly installing games through steam, origin and uplay :D

Also streaming TV shows like mad about you.

Incidentally does anyone know where I can buy mad about you on DVD from? I can only find region 1 imports of seasons 1-5 and can't locate 6&7 :(
