Interesting yet but I hope they don't upgrade as quickly as they create a new version of their browser  >:D

Cant see it doing well, and with Sony and LG producing some stellar phones this year already and the Galaxy S4 heading our way maybe it will just be for emerging markets only. As to Firefox, they try to say relevant unlike Opera in the desktop market, you can stick with a Firefox ESR version if you want. Mozilla at least tries to compete with Google and they don't have a gazillion software engineers, but the fix issues quickly and patch holes with speed. More than Microsoft and Apple do, how many security holes are waiting to be patched in Safari 6.0.2 since its release on the 1st November last year I wonder :eyebrow:

I've been looking at phones and they all look the same to me.

Thinking about getting a Blackberry 9320 or 9360

Because RIM are doing so well in the market <cough> ? If you cannot see the innovation in products like the Galaxy Note 2 you have not looked very far. If you have not seen the new Tegra 4 chip that has a fifth core which reduces battery consumption. The Sony units which are waterproof and dust proof and elegant as well as new Tablets that pair nicely using Jellybean but which are alot cheaper than Apples units. The new LG phones with massive battery life while retaining a slim profile to power their 5" screens. I have no idea where you have been looking, certainly not CES 2013. Oh yes at you looked at a firm a hoping Blackberry 10 with save itself, while sales plunge 47% in the third Quarter compared with last year and who lost a million subscribers in the last three months. Seems their phones are doing really well for along the lines of 'not looking the same'  :eyebrow:

Being a phone luddite, I have yet to purchase a smartphone and manage to make do with a phone that makes phonecalls and not much else.  But it's small enough to carry on a 4ft trailer which I can tow behind my car.   :)

At this rate, who will make a phone next? Donald Russel?

As I've said before, I'm not keen on touchscreens for dialling and texting and unless I want a very low end phone or a Doro with large buttons RIM is about the only option for me.

I haven't checked on their website for a while, but HTC used to do some fairly high end phones with slide-out 'real' keyboards.  TBH, even though I have a soft spot for BlackBerry, I do fear they are fading away, and this new BB10 OS will be their last chance of survival, in my opinion.

Might hold out for a slide keyboard myself. I love the new Sony(last of the Erricsons) with large screens and some nice features that put the usually risky/early adopters LG to shame. :)
But I really get annoyed with touch screen typing. :P
