Title: Phone line disconnection fee?
Post by: SSK on Jan 19, 2013, 12:41:27

Currently, I have two phone line rentals with IDNet, both on monthly rolling contracts. One is for broadband and voice and the other (line only) for fax. I no longer need a separate fax line, so would like to cancel it.

Will there be any 'disconnection fee'?

(I've looked through the IDNet website, but can;'t find a mention of it)

If you've served the terms of the contract, I don't think so, but it might be worth checking with IDNet on Monday.

I think Openreach do levy a fee as it requires physical disconnection at the exchange.

Just heard back from support.
It seems there is no disconnection fee.
