Title: Mozilla Thunderbird question
Post by: Broadback on Dec 26, 2012, 11:46:03
If I receive an email that is obviously junk is there any one key press that I can use to mark it thus? If I open it "J" marks it a junk, if it is not open then I have the right click then scroll down to "Junk" then mark it. Being lazy I would like to know id there is an easier way, as I do not want to open junk mail in order to mark it junk.

If you right click where the icons are, but not on an icon, you should see a Customise option.  In there, you should find a "Junk" icon, which you can drag to the toolbar.

Alternatively, if you right click the column headers and add teh "Junk Status" column you can just click the status icon of the message that you want to mark/unmark as junk.
