Title: Best Android Browser?
Post by: davej99 on Nov 23, 2012, 18:03:05
This is personal of course, but I would like to ask the question and get a take from experienced users in different situations. I have Dolphin, Firefox and default Ice Cream loaded on tablet. Wish list: Automatically delete cookies, history and encrypted pages at end of session per WinIE. Desktop as the default view rather than mobile sites when using 10" tablet. Able to run flash. Easy access to favourites. Don't gesture (in polite company) or much use TwitFace.

Do not trust the Android platform generally and the access given to the Google data miners. One can never be sure what is happening in the background. Have Sam Galaxy Tab2 10 ICS and Galaxy Ace2 phone, Ginger with 800Mz 2core (not much wizz to work with). Where is the kb delete key btw?

Thx, Dave

Excuse my ignorance I thought Flash was no longer supported on Android? I know the paid version of Puffin supports Flash on iOS but never upgraded once the trial expired. It is available for Android

Flash is indeed no longer supported by Adobe and has been removed from Playstore, but it is available from the Adobe archive.  I use it instead of the dire BBC Media Player and for other streaming.
