Title: Camera Security
Post by: psp83 on Oct 10, 2012, 15:58:01
I've got a Swann PC DVR-4-Net PCI card in my old computer but no OS for it anymore.

I was thinking about installing linux on this PC, does anyone know of any free software that will work with this card to capture video / images ?

There should be to some extent. I know there is a large following of home made PVRs for linux. Perhaps an XBMC distro would help?
I've no idea how you find drivers on linux though, I tend to just press the "install" button and hope for the best.  :red:
