Title: Removing AOL
Post by: stevenrw on Jul 15, 2012, 12:50:50
Hello all
I'm badgering a friend of mine to jump ship from the pile of poo that is AOL and go with somebody like Zen or IDnet.
Problem is (as always) getting rid of the bloatware that AOL very kindly deposits on your machine.
This is a situation with a long history and I'm wondering if by now anybody has come up with a cleaning tool to rid him of this stuff.
Short of reformatting or manually messing with his registry that is.
I don't believe it is as straightforward as add/remove progs, then manually deleting any files/folders with AOL in their name.
Any assistance would, as always, be greatly apprciated.

Give an uninstaller such as Revo a try
