Anyone use it, or know what it is? Is it connected with Apple? I've just been asked about it, and have looked on the website with my phone, but can't really see what it's all about, and whether it is actually free, legal, or otherwise.
not sure but isnt it like a music player/station/library/peer to peer thing. :dunno:

I've still got friends telling me how great this "legal" website is that's called mp3.com. I mean, it must be legal right, cos the website says it is. /sarcasm. :shake:
chances are its probably legal in the US only, imesh that is.
iMesh is legal but you have to live the US or Canada to have the premium subscription service which allows additional 'copyrighted' downloads.
Oh, cool. It was MP3.com that ignored copyright all together, under the proviso (is that the word?) that there was no copyright in their country. :laugh:
The most recent sites are so bad, they charge per track download, even if it's a "fake" mp3 track. They just use spiders to scrape content off of sites, then sell them on as mp3s. Trouble is, people are stupid enough to pay them for the "songs" that turn out to be rips of copyrighted music, home recordings and even free music. :slap:

and its connected to riaa not apple = bad
Obviously we cannot condone the download or use of copyrighted material although I would agree it appears that there are different rules depending on which side of the pond you live.
