Anyone else in the North London area with problems? We lost connectivity at the stroke of midnight.
[Edit] Now it's back up ::)
The timing suggests BT engineering work.
Especially for me it seems, they needn't have bothered!
Issues at Guildford Bras, Zap not sure if that effects you, it effects me though. http://status.aa.net.uk/apost.cgi?incident=1536
In NW London all was fine but at around 02:00, the forum was no where to be found!
They have to do the engineering sometime.
Zen has a long list of maintenance work that's going on right now, could be any of those.

Could you ping it, or was it simply unresponsive? We back up around that time.

Totally unresponsive several attempts over a 10 minutes period with the standard time out response ... did not try pinging, but had a single malt and off to bed!
I believe 2am is the database back-up time which causes the forum to become unresponsive, usually only for 5 mins or so.
Having a single malt and going to bed seems like a much better idea anyway! ;)
Just the one? :)
I didn't say one what. ;)

The thing is, I don't know if it is engineering works because it's happening every night. I had a similar problem a year ago which continued for a couple of months.
I keep loosing authentication, been happening off and on since Friday, really annoying :( happened twice around midday today. Support can see it though so they are going to do some tests.

Indeed and with BT's obscure routing who knows where its breaking down.
