Title: Windows 7 install on Netbook
Post by: stevenrw on May 20, 2012, 13:43:29
This is going to be easy for you clever folk I know...
What is the easiest way to install W7 on a netbook with no dvd/cd drive? I have a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium on disc and the W7 starter version on my netbook is behaving like a dog, so I thought I'd reinstall W7 Home Premium.
Also, can I install over the existing OS or do I have to reformat first. If so how to do that please?
I basically need an idiots guide.
Thanks in advance guys...

Follow that Steve. http://arstechnica.com/business/2009/12/the-usb-flash-drive/

During the install process you will be given the option to format the drive.
