Title: DGN2200 v1 observation when setting it to use an IP block
Post by: pctech on May 12, 2012, 17:50:19
Just a general tip for anyone that gets one of these new from PC World.

If you have a fixed IPv4 allocation from IDNET or any other ISP and try to configure it so that the router's LAN IP is the same as the IP allocated by the RADIUS server after disabling NAT (or indeed any in the IP range you've been allocated) you'll get the message that it conflicts with the WAN IP subnet which is completely wrong as there's no other way you can do it.

The trick is to reset the router using the reset switch on the back (hold the pin/pen.paperclip in until the power light flashes red then release) once the router goes through post go back to the configuration page and you'll then be able to input the configuration.
