Engineering work maybe, Lance has a similar looking graph, are you east of London?

4 hour outage at Stepney Green PoP, 0109-0505 according  to the router. Not planned apparently and AAISP report it but have no further details reported yet from BT.

Incidentally I have the same hourly small latency spike on TBBQM which I've not seen on anyone else's graph. How do you account for them?

merv, I've always had the spikes - don't know why!

Lance is in or near Colchester, so I would think others in that area would have had the problem too.

Your new router probably doesn't respond to ICMP echo requests. You'll need to enable this for the monitor to work.

Yep in Colchester. I didn't notice the outage as I was asleep and I had the usual emails in my inbox this morning. My guess is it was the planned engineering works at Illford.
