Engineering work maybe, Lance has a similar looking graph, are you east of London?
4 hour outage at Stepney Green PoP, 0109-0505 according to the router. Not planned apparently and AAISP report it but have no further details reported yet from BT.
Incidentally I have the same hourly small latency spike on TBBQM which I've not seen on anyone else's graph. How do you account for them?
glenn, yes Brentwood
merv, I've always had the spikes - don't know why!
Lance is in or near Colchester, so I would think others in that area would have had the problem too.
oh dear some thing wrong there
its been that way for a few days and can only put it down to a new router I have, dont know why though :dunno: any ideas
Is it set to respond to a ping?

Your new router probably doesn't respond to ICMP echo requests. You'll need to enable this for the monitor to work.
AHA!!! Glenn and Griff that does ring a bell now you said it.I seem to remember having to do that when setting up the TBB account

Yep in Colchester. I didn't notice the outage as I was asleep and I had the usual emails in my inbox this morning. My guess is it was the planned engineering works at Illford.
