I dont know if this is even the correct place to post this but Im sure it will be moved if its not,Recieved this a while ago and I know its a genuine alert but I am not sure if it hasnt already been here

News24 obviously haven't been keeping up with the news..

This was first discussed back in January - http://securitywatch.pcmag.com/malware/293327-will-your-browser-go-dark-on-march-8 - when they predicted it would strike on March 8th. That was subsequently changed on March 7th to July 9th - http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2401227,00.asp

Finally for those concerned check the status of your DNS entries here - https://forms.fbi.gov/check-to-see-if-your-computer-is-using-rogue-DNS

I wonder if this was similar to the one I had a while back. I had DNS replies returning advertising websites all of a sudden. Nothing fixed it, no scans showed any trouble. Thankfully I had a backup to a week/month before and that was clean.  :pray:
