Title: Organisin file help
Post by: Broadback on Mar 19, 2012, 08:18:06
I have a large folder (2.22 GB) consisting of 2,618 individual files. The files all have a name and the authors name, however they are rather chaotically organised. I would like to organise them by authors alphabetically. Is there a simpler way of doing this than moving them one at a time into a new folder? I am using windows 7. TIA

Open the folder, then from the menu select View > Sort by > More then tick Authors
