Title: Where is my junk
Post by: Magic Foundry on Mar 13, 2012, 22:11:45
Recently I seem to be finding a number of emails are not arriving when expected, logging into idnet webmail I quite often find them lodged in the junk folder. Some of these emails are quite important and are certainly not junk. Maybe it's just me but I can't find any way of setting or rather un-setting the junk mail filters in webmail. I use Thunderbird and have the Thunderbird account settings to put all junk mail in the local junk folder, but this is always empty. What am I missing here?

Have you turned off spam filtering in your idnet portal: email>ExistingAddresses>Settings? Webmail does not have its own settings.

If email is flagged as spam, you will still receive it via POP3 provided you have turned the filtering off.

Ah, I can see I was trying to set filters from within webmail not the idnet portal, Thanks armadillo, that should do the trick.
