I think that's the one mentioned on here recently where the user couldn't get IPv6 to work, apparently AAISP have some 'in-house' firmware that works.

I'll see what the stock firmware is like, I know they have a TR-069 server so may just let it load their version of the firmware and keep it up to date.

Alas I've found the catch.
Its a bit like the 2700, firmware updates are distributed only to ISPs and ISP's have to bake in the details of their TR-069 servers during firmware customisation and then store a copy of the customer's config file on the server.
So that means I'd not be able to upgrade the firmware as you cannot legitimately get hold of stock firmware and by all accounts Technicolor don't want to know if you have problems.
Back to the drawing board and quite why Amazon are selling it I don't know
Because Amazon will sell anything? Actually, if it's being sold unfit for purpose, or not as described, you should be able to return it.
I am definitely going to return it as although Zen sell the same kit, as they didn't sell it they won't load a config file nor can they give me access to their firmware image (they sell it for 60 quid)
Such locking should be illegal unless its provided for free.
Might be worth an email to Amazon, especially if it's from a Marketplace seller.
Nope its from Amazon, to be fair the reviews weren't good but then again people will have issues with anything.
As the stock firmware doesn't apparently implement iPv6 its pointless me buying it.
