I have been trying to scan photographs to save to disc but the scanning always comes out with ridges across the picture.
If I print the pictures they come out excellent but the scans are terrible. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Is the scanning screen completely clean ie the glass plate.

Now there's a thing. I thought with the lid always down the glass would be clean. I will check it out again.
