Sky is the latest ISP to block the Newzbin 2 site over piracy claims.
Earlier this year, BT was ordered by the courts to block the site using its CleanFeed technology - normally used to block child pornography - after a complaint from the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
Following the BT court order, the rights holder group had asked other ISPs to block the site, but so far they have required court orders of their own.

Thing is, they can resolve this all of their own.
If they reduced the price of DVD, blu ray and going to the cinema then people are less likely to pirate the material.
As has been shown, these measures are absolutely pointless as anyone with technical knowledge can circumvent them.
BT and ISPs should record attempts to access child abuse material and hand the user's details to the Police as this is far more concerning than fat cat record companies and film studios losing out, IMO.
