Title: Broadband Disconnecting Every Night - Low SNR - Is There Anything I Can Do?
Post by: arobertson676 on Nov 18, 2011, 21:38:51
As the title suggests, my connection is frequently dropping from a low SNR. I would really like to get this solved so any advice would be very much appreciated.

You could get BT via support to set your margin a notch higher obviously that's going to cost you in sync though, have any of the routers you've tried got the ability to adjust the downstream margin?

And have you tried at the test socket, if you have one?

OK, that puts the noise outside your house, then. It's worth a call to support tomorrow and ask them to test the line.
