After four years and five different handsets, a predictable pattern has emerged with Apple's iPhone. With pre-launch rumours focusing on an iPhone 5, Apple surprised everyone with a handset containing no great surprises. Just as the iPhone 3GS was a modest improvement on the iPhone 3G, we now have the 4S refining the iPhone 4 formula. Tick follows tock, follows tick, follows tock...

I'm now waiting for the 5S ;D
Life's too short to wait for iPhones >:D
It seems to be like the phones are playing catch up with the OSs. We'll probably be on iOS6 by the time the 5 comes out.
I'm totally bored with phones, so long as it makes and receives calls and texts I'll use it.
My upgrade was due today. I got a 4s, typically they're out of stock, so I have to wait. Now if you excuse me I'll be in the shower with wire wool.
Careful which bits you scrub hard, Niall. ;)
I REALLY don't like Apple and how they operate, but this new phone is so similar to the S2 and there's no date for the S3, I thought it would just save on hassle upgrading to a better model of the phone I'm using now. Can't say I'm overly happy about it, but at the same time I don't have to discard apps I've paid for that will be used again when I'm back in the gym. Plus I have a lady to keep impressed with my attempts at fitness now ;D

I dont't care how Apple operate they have excellent CS, thats all I need to know. Google are not exactly squeaky clean themselves. I buy phones on how they work (no 4S battery drain here thankfully) and does it suit my needs, having spent as much time playing with my Wife's HTC Sensation and my iPhone, tbh its horses for courses the lines on operating systems are blurring, iPhone apps seem more polished I will say that. Android phones generally has bigger screens and they double up as great trays which is also handy. Enjoy whatever suits you, and don't keep looking at what's next (my iPhone 5S comment was a bit tongue in cheek) by then I may want something completely different or maybe just food and petrol , who knows. Enjoy your gadgets now. After all buying toys like this is a Capitalists dream, and helped us on the road to financial ruin I'm sure.
It has me! ;D But, you can't take it with you... ;)

At this rate it may be hard to keep it if the economy melts down
It won't have any value, so we could end up taking it with us. ;)
I'm sure Jobs did.
