How will IDnet implement this?

I think we'll have to wait and see whether the end user will be able to get some control or whether it will be down support. Shame about FTTC though.
A&A have more of a self service philosophy and highly technical customer base, I don't expect most ISPs will expose these controls to their users.
For info PlusNet have already said they won't provide control to the users. http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,99618.0.html
If customers can actually tweak their own lines they might discover how bad the plusnet value service actually is and realise a quality connection costs money.
Just another reason for me to stay with the RevKev's outfit.
Had I got deep pockets I'd be tempted to give them a go but equally Zen have been great and have given me a terrific deal so I've no reason to leave as I've always found that if you ask them nicely they will generally do what you ask them to do.
I was on the trial for this change, and it provided me with an extra 500k of sync while maintaining low latency and stability. How IDNet will implement it I don't know, but whatever they do, ie user or support control, it is good news for customers.
Doesn't seem that it's going to apply to the up to 8Mb 20CN ADSL either. :(
Well, if you will insist on using old technology... ;D :out:
XP? ;)
Nothing wrong with XP! :)
