Title: Idnet & Voip
Post by: talos on Oct 21, 2011, 12:01:13
A relative living in Ireland has just changed their phone to a Voip service, does it cost me any more to call them via my Idnet service than a usual International call to Ireland.   Does Idnet offer a Voip service at the moment ? :)

As far as I am aware, IDNet does not offer a VOIP service. My daughter was in Canada for three years and we used Skype for all our contact with her. It is free and the only cost to you is bandwidth usage out of your monthly IDNet allocation. If your relative has VOIP then there would be some advantage in checking which provider she uses as VOIP to VOIP calls on the same network are usually free as well.
