Title: Where has MS Word 2007 gone
Post by: stevenrw on Oct 18, 2011, 19:16:49
Just got my computer back after a rebuild and install of Win7 Pro, plus Office 2007 (Enterprise). Now, here's a funny thing. Microsoft Word 2007 is definitely installed, but it does not appear on the list of programs. I can't find it anywhere.
Any ideas anybody?

Sorry not a Windows user but can you find the .exe.and create a shortcut. I think one of the MS office tools may also allow you to detect and repair.

Maybe Office 2007 is installed, but not the Word component?  :dunno:

Steve jogged this old atrophied brain of mine. Searched for Winword.exe and found it under Program files>Microsoft Office>Office 12.
So I'm sorted now, thanks everybody.
It just seems strange that (arguably) the most used component isnt listed under the programs along with Excel, Powerpoint et al.
Aah, Windows works in mysterious ways it's wonders to perform.....
