Always check first,  Baz. ;) No problems here. Nothing in the RSS feeds affecting your part of the world.  :dunno:

Same happened to me last night, and a few others in the Wrexham area.

Oh and in our area it was over two different exchanges. I'd be interested to see if Den pops up with any info as he's on the other exchange that a lad in work had problems on.

So the problem was between your computer and the router?

At a guess, the interface on the router had locked up. Could you access it from any other machine?

If one machine couldn't communicate with the router, it would be useful to know if others could, or couldn't Baz. If none could, then the router would be suspect.

If it's a netgear router, it's quite likely it is what Rik mentioned. All my netgear routers have done that on more than one occasion.

I've just been speaking to a woman I know that lives on the same road that my sister does, and their internet has been knackered since the problems yesterday. I really wish BT would stop being so friggin pathetic and tell people what they're doing. My sisters line is also borked apparently. That road always had problems before, and it seems when ever BT do something (and apparently deny they've done anything, or there's a fault) the roads occupants all have pants internet.

God BT anger me so much.

Actually I think this may be a network issue as other ISPs are saying the same as plusnet (almost word perfect).
