If I go over is it £25 until I hit the 31gb mark or £1 extra basically once you go over 30gb as its a bir confusing with the term £1/GB after 30gb - what if im not 1gb over
i take it as you have 30gb inclusive. Then every 1gb after 30gb you pay £1 per gb.
so 30.15gb will still be £25? right? :-\
I would think that once you reach 30 Gb you will be billed £1 to purchase a further 1Gb allowance. If that is used up you will be billed a further £1 for a further 1 Gb etc., until you reach your normal billing date when your 30 Gb limit comes into force for a new billing period.
Hi Sam
I guess the small print should read "£1/GB or part thereof". Once you exceed your limit, the bandwidth is chargeable, but I suspect that small 'overs' might not get charged. You can borrow some of my bandwidth if you like. :)
I agree Rik, before the 2GB was upped to 5GB, I think I slipped over on one occasion, but I never got charged anymore.
Good idea, pool sharing allowances.. ;D

We could set up a co-operative! :)
Only if I get a share of the Divi..... ;D
( showing my age now ) ;)
But I understood you, so likewise!
you can borrow some of mine...
my stats last month...
0.32 GB Download - (Peak: 0.32 GB | Off-Peak: 0.0 GB)
0.04 GB Upload - (Peak: 0.04 GB | Off-Peak: 0.0 GB)
:o
Talking of bandwidth, mine was 5.57gb for last month. I'm on the 30gb one. It varies what I download from month to month, sometimes I'll download a few big files, then hardly anything for a month or two. Wondering whether it's worth going down to the 5gb one and paying for any extra as it looks like it'll be cheaper.
On AOL (cough) it was 'unlimited' so never knew what I used.
Up to 11GB/month and you'd be better off on Lite, paying the additional charges, Eve.

do you get close to the 30 ever ?
how do your last 3 months or so of downloads look ?
April (when I joined) was 4.01gb
May 5.57gb
Then I think it's only £7 extra a month and I dont even need to think about what I'm using.
Sounds like it would be better to go for the lower one though. Isn't there a charge for lowering the package?
No, there should be no charge as it's the same BT package.
;D Will send them an email asking for the change then.
Done :)
I hit 30gb nearly every month will all my gaming and stuff us youngsters get up to >:D
I made 16 Gig in May, which is probably my peak. But I like IDNet so I'll keep the 30Gig package
Besides, some of the jokes.......I have to reload, and reload, and reload, until I find who posted it originally.
