(Posting from phone)
Sync is still up, router shows an active ppp session but I Windows is reporting no internet connection.
My IDNet connection seems to be struggling at the moment. Websites timing out. Posting from my phone. Anyone else?
Yep connections to idnetters also

Same here
Same thing here router has sync and PPP but cannot load any pages.
Jut dropped for 5 / 10 minutes - powered down router and all back up (for now)
Witney exchange on 01993
Wingnutz
Mine and Griff's threads merged. Outage for approx three minutes, but seems OK now. :dunno:
Dropped out here (SW Cornwall) from 1920 to 1925. All Ok now.
Back working again.
Back on the PC now.
That was weird.
At a guess I would say one of the hostlinks fell over, but that is pure speculation.

BT probably deleted something..... Again.. ;)
I can find no evidence of an outage in my router log but it might explain why I can't relaunch a forum I've just updated.
The outage was from 19:17:41 to 19:22:59.
My router never appeared to drop the connection - or, at least, all the lights stayed green.

It wouldn't show any evidence. (See my opening post)
Ah... :red:

Damn, so it was, I can see it on my BQM now. I didn't notice it and there are no errors listed in my FTP log. It seems I've applied an update to a forum with a few hundred files missing :shake:

That's what happened to my connection

I only knew as A, I was using Teamspeak 3 at the time when it suddenly dropped and B, It automatically tries to re-connect you over and over again hence I have the exact times of the outage.

I think our connections to idnet were maintain, it was a/the route out of their servers that failed so we wouldn't have seen any error logs on our routers
Had the exact same problem. Annoyingly it was during a live Internet radio show. Grrrrr. Problems like this do choose their moments don't they.. I had to reboot my router twice but then it came back.. Luckily I didn't lose any listeners.. Just some hair. :)

One of our connections from BT failed for a few minutes earlier this evening. Traffic correctly failed-over to the other link. There is no word yet from BT as to the cause. Traffic is currently flowing evenly across both links again now.
Thanks Simon, good to see the failsafe switched over to the other link this time with no apparent problems.
Thanks Simon. All seems well now.
