Given the recent hysteria over wireless emissions, safety et al it's it's interesting to read here (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/05/23/iburst_ie/) that Ireland's to get wireless BB and what speed's of 1MB/s
Lucky lucky paddy's is all I can say !
Hi Scott
I find the hysteria interesting. It's pretty much what we've been through with microwave ovens and mobile phones. Yet, at any time, I pretty much guarantee that the strongest RF radiation passing through will be from the broadcasters trying to whip up the current frenzy.
That said, I'm still a 'wires' fan. What I would really like to see in the UK is fibre to the home. Then, we could take down our satellite dishes and TV aerials, and do some really serious things with that one little piece of glass.
Look out for any pigs passing overhead. ;)

Well spotted Rik. These are wireless pigs and it is BT's latest pilot initiative in the broadband roll out, with available frequencies for radio
hams.
There's only one possible response, Jupiter... (http://www.idnetters.co.uk/forums/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2638.0;attach=1015)
That won't cure me. ;D
I'd never want to cure your wit - preserve it maybe... :)
