Title: BT Profiles
Post by: Tacitus on Aug 25, 2011, 09:20:37
Can anyone point me to a list of connection speeds and linked BT Profiles?

At one time they went up in 250k intervals to 2000k and 500K intervals thereafter, but I believe that altered and they introduced 250k intervals up to 2500/3000k.

I've trawled the BT site and various others to no avail.

I've still got the 500k steps in my list, Tac.

Thanks Glenn.  I thought they'd altered them since then to incorporate 250k steps from 2000 - 2500k or 3000k.  Obviously I was wrong.....   :(

No idea what's going on but we've had a bunch of OpenReach vans swarming round the village.  Since then my sync has gone from around 1700 to it's current 2430.  Noise is still high at 13dB, but that's better than the regular 18dB that I've had for some time.

For some reason I can't get RouterStats to work with this 2700 v6 - Rstats drops out every 10 minutes or so and won't reconnect.

PS Rik:  I thought you'd 'retired'......  Good to see you're still around though  ;D

BT a trialling a new profiling method on some ADSL2+ lines, called 'DLM quantisation'. The profile follows the synch speed more closely and not in discrete steps.
