Title: Moving home broadband to talktalk LLU
Post by: mrapoc on Aug 24, 2011, 23:11:07
Hi all,

Sorry I havent been on as of late, been hectic working at a new job (soon to be leaving for uni tho). As I am moving away to Uni and the family don't really need such a "specced up" broadband, we have decided to move onto talktalk LLU (the only LLU in town) offering up to 24mpbs. Who knows  :fingers:

Should save quite a bit of money and its only a 12 month contract so I can always move back once i've finished the course. Will keep Idnet in mind at our uni accommodation mind you.

As it is LLU there is no mac code use is there - do i need to tell idnet to cut us off on our "activation date" or is it automated?

Thanks all, i'll stick around  8-)

Broadband or Uni

Hope it goes smoothly, I won't be around much for the aftermath mind you  should be ok - i've heard LLU can be very advantageous over BT equipment including the speed increase

I would ring support just to confirm to them when your new connection goes live just to make sure.
