I have just got an alert from Windows telling me that my Firewall is 'Off' and my Virus Protection is 'Not Found'.
According to Bit Defender eveything is 'Enabled'.
So which one is correct?.

I would believe Bit Defender myself.

Possibly a reboot may help Windows detect it?

I always get that and just ignore what windows is telling me. I know they're all on. Just one of those windows glitches probably or maybe it only recognises the the big names such as Norton.

It recognises NOD32 as well!

I think it recognises most AV and firewall software, just sometimes it has a fit and struggles to identify them. :)

Doesn't recognise my AVG (paid for) and Zone Alarm (free) :laugh:

Go to .. Control Panel " check your Firewall settings from there. ;)

Assuming they mean Microsoft Firewall.
