It's just started happening. Getting really annoying. I'd hope It's not a dead router. Time to get out the spare.
Time to get out a desk fan and point it at the router... don't know where you are, but it's 33ÂșC here :eek4:
Probably. I was not too concerned, as I got a spare. Seems better already. But guess what. My connection is now 4mb. :(
The good old DLM...
I had that happen once- the router went into a reboot, sync, fail to authenticate, reboot... loop once, and kept it up for 4 days while I was away for a long weekend.
My line stats were not a pretty sight when I got home :bawl:
Download speedachieved during the test was - 3680 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :8128 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 4000 Kbps
I'd understand if the router died. It kept on for most of the time. Perhaps 1 power failure all day. Then about 15 mins to half an hour of ASDL failure and I loose my 7 meg profile. :(
You're still sync'd at full whack so it will recover, quite quickly (possibly only hours) for most of it I'd think.
Though it may depend which version of the DLM you're lumbered with, there seem to a few different ones around.
Probably the string and tape one.

Probably the string and tape one.
I think you'll find that they reserve the "string and tape" one, for their premium customers! ;D
It's back now. :)
I wonder if it's worth trying the other router again...
I guess if it was due to the heat it's now rather than tomorrow.
