Title: Poor speed
Post by: spenny on May 22, 2011, 22:36:21

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results/id/130609992634611729520.html

This is what I've been putting up with this week . 'Coincidentally' the unreliable ~ 1mbit connection that I've had for the past 3 years dropped to ~ 250kbps when I informed support that I was cancelling my BB this month. I'm not sure to what extent BT is culpable   :eyebrow:? but this is just unacceptable. Hopefully I'll have a more enjoyable experience with Virgin cable  ???

Without a complete set of line stats and equipment details no one here can do anything to help , you haven't sought any help here before today.

Virgin cable is an very different service and should be able to deliver better speeds BUT they now employ bandwidth throttling all day and you are stuck with a very long contract, hope it works out for you.

Hope it works out, have to say not keen on that long contract idea, stats and details as Dorset said would have helped, oh well...

Perhaps we need a new board other than help for when you don't need help  :dunno:
