Title: Budget lappy
Post by: ou7shined on May 17, 2007, 13:10:48
I've been keeping an eye out for a decent budget lappy for my mum and found this (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=27881739025&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X3NwZWNpZmljYXRpb25z&product_uid=126845) wee beauty and thought I'd share.
Not bad (on paper) for the price and it doesn't come with Vista.

Looks good to me...don't forget to use Google Checkout to save a tenner....it works fine.

Blimey! I've never noticed Google Checkout before and I use Ebuyer a fair bit. Cheers for the heads-up.

I've reinstalled XP for a customer on a Fujitsu/Siemens laptop (can't remember what model it was but looked a bit like the one in the picture. It looked solidly built to me and the software support was good too.

Might also be worth checking out this............

Same notebook but with a different speed quoted for the processor ? Anyway has Vista instead of Xp (which may or may not be a selling point !)
