Title: Reboot and select proper Boot device
Post by: David on May 01, 2011, 09:38:38
Turned on this morning and just got this message on the screen. decided that it was/is possible the usb of the new external hard drive so took that out and tried again then turnout the machine off,(had no option switched off) did this a couple of times and left it .turned on again and its all ok

I thought maybe the system is finding the usb first and not booting in the right order or something  :dunno: ok Im semi guessing and one come across this before ?
I was only doing my photo,s yesterday have not taken anything off, well dont think so I was only in the photo albums

Im off to Wickes soon as I have a fence to pull down shall I get a bigger hammer whilst Im there ?

I had that problem once, it seemed there was a setting in the bios which automatically looked for usb device boot devices before anything else, I disabled it and all was ok.  By the way, it did not come under boot sequence settings.
