Title: Target SNR went from 6db to 9db
Post by: Aaron on Mar 25, 2011, 18:34:48
Not sure why this happened but found out today my target SNR is at 9 when I tried to do a resync at sundown this evening to attempt a resync to a higher rate of between 4544 - 5119 (from the drop that happened on the 20th). Any ideas why this may have happened? The logs do not show a mass amount of disconnections that would have caused the exchange to bump up the target.

edit: the log may look a little confusing, it was at 18:08 GMT that I got a sync of 3872, and 18:33 is the time I loaded the page on my router.

I think the error count may have triggered the higher NM, but it's hard to say.

Will it go back to 6db in its own time or will I have to contact IDNet to do this?

In time, if the line proves stable, it will revert. IDNet may  be able to get it reset, but if it goes back up again, BT won't entertain the request a second time.
